Butler Rural Water District 5 was incorporated in 1977 and is a nonprofit Rural Water District organized under the laws of the State of Kansas. Water is purchased from the City of El Dorado & City of Wichita and is treated surface water. From the connection, water travels through 1000 miles of waterlines to customers.
